C-130
Access
Two complete sets of single-level maintenance staging were
designed, manufactured and erected for the Department of
National Defence of Canada at 8 Wing, Trenton, Ontario.
The equipment was manufactured at Borley Brothers and containerised
for shipping to Canada. On arrival, a team of engineers
was sent from Borley Brothers and it took four weeks to
erect the staging.
This staging has now been in operation for approximately
12 months. Initial feedback indicates that not only has
a safer working environment been established, but also a
reduction in man-hours on routine maintenance work on the
aircraft has been achieved.
